APPLICATION RANGE
The JGDI captive slide and O-Ring seal for inside sealing is a compact element for sealing piston rods. It can be used with mineral oils, water base fluids and in modified form with other fluids. It consists of 4 parts, a sharp edged sealing ring of PTFE compound, 2 L-shape support rings of POM(PA from Ø 400), and an O-Ring as energiser. The L-shape rings firmly support and guide the slide ring to ensure a tight seal at all times. The slide ring provides the sealing function, being pressed against the piston rod by the O-Ring energiser.
